Elliot Merrick’s “Green Mountain Farm”

I'm looking forward to the upcoming book discussion at the library, the topic being Elliot (Bud) Merrick's Green Mountain Farm. Susan has done a masterful job collecting copies from other VT libraries, available to anyone who wants to read this well-written slice of life novel about living on the shores of Little Hosmer in the 1930s. I've come across a couple of photographs that relate to the topic: one of Elliot's wife Kay, standing between two other (unidentified) people, and the other of 'Bud' and his friend Horace Strong, from 1992. If these photos incite other memories, I'd be happy to learn them.
